Rocky Mountain Cruiser 15.5 ft

Featured below are two kevlar-carbon hybrids

Designed by Muskeg John Velchuk in the late 1970s in Red Deer Alberta, this canoe resembles closely a Bobs Special. It is a tried-and-true versatile entry level canoe for rivers, lakes and is relatively light weight. At one time thousands were made throughout the prairies by half a dozen canoe groups/enthusiasts.

The moderate rocker and soft bilges make this a great canoe for traditional style tandem paddling. You can easily set up the canoe for solo paddling by making the beam narrower (pull it in to 31 inchs).
